Assist in our final phase of migration/upgrade to Joomla 1.5. Develop a “Training/Speaker's Bureau” through implementation of a social networking component (JomSocial) so that people can post profiles of their presentation design work/portfolios, and we can attract other designers to submit their resumes, etc. Somewhat like Guru.com, but without the direct contact info to the developer.
- Creating a true "presentation team" of speakers who can list themselves on the site (or via espeakers.com), and get us the booking agency. Probably similar to the user profiles we'll have in the Design Services section.
- Refinement of our Presenter Center....a clearinghouse of information and articles helpful to presenters. Integration with other presentation sites to pull their news.
- Automated weekly emails, pulling content and ads from various sections to be pushed out to subscribers/email lists. RSS Feeds. Banner advertisements from sponsors and/or Google built into the site (SLife?).
- Integration of website with other domains. Customer Testimonial letters. This is relatively easy. Addition of our 20+ scanned testimonial letters from our customers.
- Message Board; community forum for people to post their information about presentations and ask/offer help.
- Greater use of Twitter and other social networking tools; help guide management on what needs to be done to maintain better contact with our clients and visitors.
- Must have experience with Joomla/CMS Systems. Strong communication skills and attention to detail, and an understanding about the presentation/AV industry, and e-commerce experience are helpful.
