Presentation Design for the Construction / Architecture industry

Construction companies and architecture firms are often required to make presentations to win bids or jobs. There's a lot of money on the line...and all too often their proposals and presentations lack the punch to win the project.

Winning a contract in the construction or architecture industry is a lot easier when you have a good looking presentation. Since 1995, The Presentation Team has developed proposals and presentations for numerous architects and construction companies throughout the United States. Our efforts have helped them to win more projects, train more people, and support their operation more effectively than any in-house solution...translating to more revenue and growth for our clients!

Our experience has given us a solid knowledge of the construction and architecture industries, allowing us to quickly and cost-effectively create (or enhance/improve) presentations and marketing materials that succinctly meet RFP/RFQ requirements with a blend of professionalism and creative flair.

If you're looking for a company that knows the construction/ architecture industry and can create a presentation to give you an edge over the competition, give The Presentation Team a call.

Case Study 1: Suffolk Construction
(Client since 1999)

Boston-based Suffolk Construction was consistently losing bids for school construction jobs...and their presentation was largely to blame. So Suffolk came to The Presentation Team to add clarity and dazzle.

Our methods to improve their presentations included reducing on-screen clutter and providing breathing space through several design techniques including: splitting bullets onto several pages, and by converting bullets into graphical icons with stock photography.

For the testimonials section, rather than simply typing their clients' accolades, we scanned and showcased the actual letters. And for showcasing the project's proposed staff, we expanded a single jam-packed slide featuring a photo, credentials, and experience, into three distinct pages

In the end, the presentation increased from 35 slides to 60...presented in the same 20 minutes...but to a more delighted audience. And the true mark of success: a steady stream of new contracts for Suffolk Construction.

Case Study 2: Cartaya and Associates Architects
(Client since 1998)

With a big government contract up for grabs...and a big field of competitors, Fort Lauderdale-based architect Cartaya and Associates recently turned to The Presentation Team to give their presentation the winning edge. The Presentation Team quickly updated their existing presentation with a new show that included more vibrant colors, more succinct typography, and video clips (rather than photos) to show off the firm's past projects. And the true mark of success: Cartaya won the job!

Case Study 3: Padula and Wadsworth Construction
(Client since 2005)

A $10 Million contract to renovate a new high school was the net result of a presentation by Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Padula and Wadsworth Construction. The Presentation Team worked for just 4 days to create the dynamic 20-page/10 minute presentation which highlighted the firm's experience and capabilities. The presentation was shown to the Broward County School Board, who unanimously agreed that the presentation was a contributing factor in helping them to win the contract.

Case Study 4: Associated General Contractors
(Client since 2001)

When Washington, D.C.-based Associated General Contactors (AGC) decided to host an awards show to salute its members' outstanding construction projects throughout the past year, they selected The Presentation Team to create a multimedia presentation ala the Oscar Awards.

The CD-ROM-based “production” consisted of text, graphics, video, and audio, all integrated into a Macromedia Director exe file. Projected onto a huge screen at the Ritz Carlton hotel, the presentation was a huge hit!

“All of our members, nominees and award winners were extremely impressed with the quality and professionalism of the final product…I know how much behind the scenes work went into this production. I really appreciate your patience and dedication to getting this project in on time and on budget. That means a lot.”
